Paul Hage
Director
Starting his accounting career in 2000, Paul Hage specialised in taxation and the operation of small to medium sized businesses. In 2004, Paul opened Sterling Partners which, since inception, has experienced exponential growth. As a Fellow of the IPA, Paul is highly skilled in the areas of corporate structures, business performance reporting and business taxation planning.
In the scope of traditional compliance, Paul Hage is able to advise within the fields of business and individual taxation, capital gains, payroll obligations, Work cover compliance, and self-managed superannuation funds.
While being the sole director of Sterling Partners, Paul has placed a heavy emphasis on having a proper work / life balance. He is married to Marie-Reine and has three children and places high importance on family and friends.
Nicholas Mitsios
Senior Associate
Nicholas commenced work as a public servant in the Taxation Office during 1966. In 1979 he set up his own practice and has continued in this career right up until joining Sterling Partners in 2009.
Nicholas has extensive experience in taxation planning, business advice, client structuring and wealth creation, gained through forty-four years as a public accountant. His business experience through direct involvement in manufacturing business, property development and as the Financial Director at Crazy Johns for five years is also of great assistance when advising clients.
Nicholas is married to Melanie and has one son. His main interests include his work, golf, walking and socializing.
Dean Kouimtzis
Senior Accountant
Dean completed his Bachelor of Business (Accounting) at Swinburne University in 2009 while working as a Personal Loans Compliance Officer for the Australian and New Zealand Bank (ANZ).
Upon completion of his degree, Dean began working as an accountant and has thoroughly enjoyed the new challenges each day the profession brings.
As a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA), Dean specialises in taxation and financial reporting of small to medium sized businesses including Self Managed Superannuation Funds. Dean’s interests outside of work include exercising, fishing and following the mighty Hawks!
Ying Zhang
Client Advisor
Ying completed her Bachelor of Business (Accounting) degree at Monash University in 2013.
Ying initially worked part time at a public practice accounting firm during university studies in 2012 and upon graduation has worked full time in the accounting industry since.
Ying has enjoyed working with a range of individual and small business clients.
Upon completion of her university degree, she commenced her CPA studies and was qualified as a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) in 2017.
Outside of work her interests include spending time with family and friends, travelling to new places and watching movies.

Terry Galanis
Client Advisor
Terry entered the accounting industry as a Bookkeeper in 2001 working for a wide range of business clients. After 10 years as an industry Bookkeeper, Terry decided to move into public practice. Terry started at Sterling Partners in early 2013 with a role focused on business taxation. He is currently completing his Bachelor of Business at Swinburne University with a focus towards his CPA.
After hours Terry enjoys going to the gym, playing tennis and spending time with the family.
Adrian Fruscalzo
Client Advisor
Adrian completed his Bachelor of Accounting at La Trobe University in 2013 while working part time at Sterling Partners. Adrian is currently an Associate Member of CPA Australia; he intends to complete his studies in the near future.
Adrian is very interested in the field of tax planning, he shows great passion and actively seeks to learn more each day. Adrian is a dedicated & enthusiastic employee who has adapted to our culture and philosophy. Adrian enjoys working as a part of the team and brings with him an infectious smile.
Outside of work, Adrian is captain of his football team La Trobe University Soccer Club where his preferred position is centre midfield. Adrian’s other interests include skiing, fishing, and camping to mention a few.
Jimmy Wong
Client Advisor
Jimmy joined Sterling Partners in 2018 and is currently undertaking a Masters of Professional Accounting at RMIT.
Previously Jimmy has owned his own business (Escape Room) and has gained a wealth of experience in working with a diverse range of clients.
He is currently pursuing his CPA membership and planning to complete the program in the near future.
Jimmy enjoys both indoor and outdoor activities however, due to his increasing family size he is now devoting his time to them.
Jimmy holds a bachelor degree in Communication and has worked in the events industry previously.
Marie Reine Hage
Administration
Marie entered the accounting industry as a bookkeeper in 2006 before starting her career at Sterling Partners in late 2007. She has since had three beautiful children and now working with us part time as our corporate compliance and administration officer. Marie enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and watching movies.
